Hola amigas & amigos! It’s time for my Mexico City Travel Diaries Post #2, and today I’m talking all about a subject we all (most likely) will appreciate the most – FOOD. Anyone else a huge foodie? 😛 I may be small & petite, but I’ve been told that I surprise everyone by how much I can eat. I’m all about being healthy and active on a regular basis, but I’m all about splurging when I go on vacation. 🙂
Mexico City food is delicious. If you like fruits, pork, dessert, and seafood – your stomach will have the time of its life. I personally don’t like seafood at all, but I’m all about the others! The smoothies, fruits and ice cream that I snagged at the little shops and street carts were so fresh and SO cheap. I thoroughly enjoyed the savory, juicy, tender pork that was in every taco I had (I give the street tacos a huge *thumbs up*). I mean…it’s ALWAYS taco time, am I right? P.S. Get deets on this cutie taco sweatshirt at the bottom of this post. I never forgot about my sugar either – I’m pretty sure I made it a tradition to have a churro after every meal. Also, the Mexico City pastries were all so flakey aka AMAZING.
P.S. If any of y’all are planning a trip to Mexico City, see below for a full list of food places to definitely check out:
