Welcome To My Blog!

Welcome to my first blog post EVER. I am so excited to get this blog going! If you already read my ‘About Me’ section or know me personally, you can tell how passionate I am about fashion – it really is like a lifestyle (or should I say: ‘livstyle’) to me. [Quick background on how I decided on my blog name…honestly, it took me months to decide on one. I love a play on words, and after several attempts of coming up with different options / making multiple people vote on which one sounded best, The Livstyle was born! I thought it sounded unique because many of my friends call me ‘liv’ as a nickname + I’m bringing my personal lifestyle to the internet :)] In addition to fashion, I also have a strong passion for writing…I must admit that I haven’t written too much since college ended, but that’s all about to change starting now! On a daily basis in my current job, I work with a lot of fashion bloggers (on the brand side). Seeing all their beautiful, inspirational imagery and witnessing how their love for fashion shines through their blogs inspired me to start one of my own! And what better place to start a blog in than the fashion capital of the U.S.?

My first photoshoot ever was so much fun (thanks to my photographer who I highly recommend)! I wore an off-the-shoulder, bell sleeved pale pink top (currently obsessed with any and every off-the-shoulder top) and distressed boyfriend jeans from Forever 21. I’m not kidding, I have been on the search for jeans like this for quite some time now and finally found the perfect one! It’s pretty difficult to find jeans that fit me (I’m 5 feet tall and wearing a size S for reference) – but I was so happy when these worked out. I’m a total accessories girl – I paired this outfit look with a sleek white clutch purse from Aldo (the gold chain/accents add a classy pop), super high nude heels and all gold jewelry.
