Who else loves walking on the streets of NYC? Every corner you turn is something new. I personally enjoy the busy streets (minus when people bump into me!) and the fast paced life. I’ve lived on the west side of NY for a year and am actually moving to the east side this weekend. I’m rarely in that area, so it’ll be fun to explore a new neighborhood!
With so many people walking on the streets all the time, I must confess that I tend to get some fashion inspiration from several girls’ personal street style. Street style (especially for celebrities) has really become the new runway. Since I live in the fashion capital of the world, I figured I should share my take on street style with ya’ll! I went for a darker look…you can never have too much black and gray in your closet right?! I snagged this silky black bodysuit (usually I don’t like bodysuits, but this one is SO comfy) from Mystique Boutique and paired it with this super unique asymmetrical skirt. I must say that the shape of this skirt really shows off your curves in a flattering way, and if you are unsure of whether you should go short or long – this is the perfect in-between! I am in love with the details of my clutch foldover bag with all the intricate silver beading. Since I’m 5 feet tall (#shortgirlproblems), I just HAD to pair it with some extra tall 5 inch lace-up bootie heels!
