Off the Shoulder: Current Summer Obsession

Can ya’ll believe it’s the end of July?! Where has the time gone? Summer is by far my favorite season and I’m getting a little depressed that it’s almost over. This is my second summer in NYC and it has been the perfect weather. Pretty windy, and not too hot. I’m from Houston and anyone from Texas knows how humid and hot the summers there are (110 degrees, eww), so I’m definitely not missing that right now! My current summer obsession is the off the shoulder trend – it gives just the right amount of breeze and shows just the right amount of skin. This off-the-shoulder top is from New York & Company, and there’s a lot more where that came from – NY&C is totally killing it in their cute summer tops! I’m also wearing little white denim shorts from XXI and rocking my fave envelope (literally envelope!) clutch from Kate Spade. I wore this look on July 4th because it looked so patriotic to me, and with all the election talk going on right now…I’ll have to wear it again soon! 🙂 What’s your current summer trend obsession?
