My favorite color may be pink, but if you take a peek into my closet…blue is the most frequent color (other than black and white) that you will find! I feel like there’s a perfect shade of blue that goes with every season, and in my opinion it’s a color that is super flattering on everyone!
Last week I was at a Happy Hour with my friend and a bunch of her coworkers that I just met that night. My friend is super supportive of my blog and will immediately tell EVERYONE I meet that I’m a fashion blogger right of the bat – haha I love her, but then I always have to dive into my schpeel about what my blog is about, how I got started, etc. They pulled up my instagram and immediately were drawn to a recent photo that I posted in my blue dress from Shop Briella. Direct quote from one of the girls: ‘Umm…I literally need to buy this dress…NOW. It’s the cutest dress I’ve ever seen! Where can I get it?’
Funny thing is, those were basically my thoughts as soon as I laid eyes on this dress online…I fell in love! For those of you who aren’t familiar, ShopBriella is a trendy online women’s boutique with the cutest pieces for any occasion (for such great prices!!) – I’m talking darling off the shoulder tops, flattering bodysuits, gorgeous dresses, fun rompers and trendsetting chokers. I’m wearing the ‘Chic Gal Tie Waist Wrap Over Dress‘ (under $40!), and it is something else! I just love how unique it is – the long sleeves, cute tie waist accent and I totally dig how it kind of looks like a satin robe! The navy blue is a stunning color and trust me, the smooth fabric is even shinier in person. It’s the perfect color right now since we are slowwwwly transitioning from Winter to Spring. This dress would be perfect for a wedding, romantic date night out or girls’ dinner! I wore it on #NationalDressDay because I’m obsessed with it and it’s def one of my fave dresses ๐ I paired it with some snakeskin heels and a gold shiny clutch to add some tan/gold tones to this look. And yes, of course I wore my Irresistible Me Hair Extensions to feel a little more fancy (check my previous blog post about these extensions here). ๐
