I was shopping with my friend the other day, and she asked me how I would describe my style. As a fashion blogger, you would think that the answer would be super simple, right?! Wrong. Sure, some fashionistas have a particular niche style that they stick to, but for me (and I’m sure a lot of y’all too) – I feel like it’s hard to describe into just a few words what my style consists of. I like so many different patterns/prints/pieces/details, sometimes it’s like my style is all over the place (hmm, sounds a little similar to my dating preferences – HA)! However, one iconic pattern that matches my style aesthetic and I know I will always be fond of is floral. Floral for life, baby!
Seems obvious, but wearing floral is HOT for Spring! When someone even says the word ‘Spring’, I feel like most people automatically think about flowers. Floral prints are dreamy, super feminine and just the right amount of flirty – every girly girls’ obsession. Florals are all about embracing the happiness and romance of Springtime. I found this darling floral culotte jumpsuit in…my mama’s closet! Yep, that’s right – I borrow A LOT of clothes from my mom – one of my first style icons and (arguably) maybe a bigger shopaholic than me? I paired it with a chic black cape blazer from Rosegal. I mean, what could be better than a floral + cape blazer combo? Y’all, I’m obsessed with cape blazers, and this one was such a fab find because it’s a perfect long length (especially for us petite gals). A cape blazer Postcan be dressed up or down (looks great with jeans), but will undoubtedly always give off super stylish vibes.
