Any of you babes into mod fashion? *Raises hand* It may have been before my time, but I’ve just always had a thing for the 1960s’ decade. I used to think that I was born in the wrong era, because I am ALL about the crazy patterned prints, girly miniskirts, beautifully bright colors, and bell bottom styles. Luckily over time, past fashion trends have found a way to crawl back into our stores today.
I was over the moon when my mom gave me this dress as a gift. I’ve talked about my sweet mama before on my blog, but she is the ultimate style icon and I can say that my fashionista side definitely stems from her (yes, I ‘get it from my mama’ :P). This pink and white checkered dress (on clearance right now for UNDER $30 so act quick!) is SO mod and gives off just the right amount of ‘gogo girl’ vibes. I’m obsessed with the smooth fit and bold pattern…it’s super chic + ideal for the office OR a dinner date night (truly desk to dinner!). P.S. I wore it to work and got a ton of compliments! I paired it with my fave black and this perfectly pink . Okay, take me back to the 60s’ now…I’m ready to get my groove on!
