Top NYC Beauty Spot: Salon De Beaute for Eyelash Extensions

Hey beauty babes! I’m off to MAUI this week (P.S. stay tuned for all my upcoming photos + posts from the trip) – but before I jetted off, I had to make sure my lashes were vaca ready / picture perfect!

Y’all already know how much I LOVE eyelash extensions…the best part is saving time on getting ready and getting away with wearing minimal makeup 😉 I’ve gotten a ton of questions from you guys if they damage your eyelashes, but I have been getting my eyelashes done for several years now and I haven’t had any problems at all. It’s all about the care and maintenance after you get them.

My eyelashes turned out amazing – so voluminous and beach ready!

Remember the most important eyelash extension tips:

You’ll probably fall asleep during the process, because it takes over an hour. It’s a nice little rest though 🙂
Definitely don’t shower or wet your eyelashes for 24 hours after getting them done.
Try not to touch your eyelashes as much as possible. Again – the better you take care of them, the longer they will last.
No mascara needed. It’s definitely not necessary and will cause them to dry out, clump together, and fall out faster.
The investment is soooo worth it! It’s the best feeling to wake up in the morning ready to go.
The lash extensions usually last up to 4-6 weeks, so a retouch-up is probably needed about 2-3 weeks in.
