Maui Travel Guide + Summer Vacation Looks

Aloha, babes! My bf & I went on a week long vacation this summer to Maui, Hawaii – so I thought it’d be the perfect time to officially say goodbye to Summer by recapping it all! This will be a long, yet exciting blog post because I put together a full Maui Travel Guide including everything from restaurants, to do activities + all my Hawaiian outfit looks!

First off, let’s start with the trip. My bf and I spent a ton of time putting together a super detailed, jam-packed-with-fun itinerary for Maui. We booked multiple activities and secured a bunch of restaurant rezzies. *PLOT TWIST*: In the middle of our vacation, Hurricane Lane decided to show up! Now you’d be surprised, Hawaii hasn’t been hit with a hurricane in YEARS, so the islands are not ready for one at all. Our airbnb didn’t seem like the best place for shelter if anything were to happen, so we ended up having to rebook a hotel at Kaanapali Shores (which I will say, was an amazing decision). Kaanapali Shores is a gorgeous resort with an all-star pool/hot tub + unlimited free movie rentals – highly recommended! Anywho, a ton of our planned activities unfortunately were cancelled due to the weather and we definitely didn’t get as much beach time, but my bf & I made the most of it and stayed positive through it all. Maui didn’t get hit as bad as the other Hawaiian islands, so ultimately we were lucky. The important thing above all is that we were safe and we are proud official survivors of Hurricane Lane 🙂 CRAZY THOUGH, RIGHT?

All of the below was part of our itinerary. Unfortunately we didn’t get to experience it all due to the hurricane, but I can guarantee y’all, this is filtered with the best of the best. SO if y’all are planning on visiting Maui anytime soon, hopefully this will be a huge help and time saver!
