Happy Monday, lovelies! I’m so excited to write this post for y’all because I always get a ton of requests asking for the best spots to shoot in NYC, or where a lot of the cool ‘instagrammable’ walls/places are located around the city. Outside of the typical picture-esque NYC spots like Central Park, Flatiron Building, Times Square, Grand Central, Coney Island, Streets of Soho, and The Met, I wanted my list to include a little bit more unique spots that y’all may not know about!
Here we go…
- Pietro Nolita (174 Elizabeth St) – The notorious ALL PINK spot. It’s a restaurant with all things pink (yes, even down to the cups & napkins), but you don’t have to eat there to snap a picture outside! This location is where my photos in this post were taken.
- L’Appartement Sezane (254 Elizabeth St)- Another fave spot for bloggers to shoot! If you love flowers, this backdrop is for you. They change out the floral backdrops every season – the Fall one is absolutely gorgeous.
- Nomo Soho (9 Crosby St)- Hands down the prettiest archway there ever was. This garden-looking dreamy archway is a must-visit!
- Dumbo’s Iconic Spot in Brooklyn (intersection of Washington St & Front St) – Beware of one of the most popular, iconic photoshoot spots in NYC – it’s sure to be crowded because of it’s popularity, but worth the shot!
- Bowery Mural (76 E Houston St) – What I love about this mural is that it ALWAYS changes, so it’s worth a visit every now and then. Usually super colorful and fun!
- Melissa Shoes (500 Broadway) – A hidden gem in Soho. This shoe store has a gallery inside that makes you feel like you’re in outerspace, surrounded by shining stars everywhere.
- Mural outside Baby Brasa (173 7th Ave S) – This quoted wall is for all y’all sassy babes ๐
- Minetta Street (5 Minetta Street) – Adore this beautiful row of the cutest quaint apts in Greenwich Village.
- Bleeding Hearts Mural (192 Mott St) – Be sure to check out the oh-so-famous ‘love wall’ created by artist James Goldcrown.
- Public hotels (215 Chrystie St)- This is the only location reco that I haven’t visited, but I mean…look at the photos! A pic with these crazy cool, neon escalators would be out of this world.
