Heya, babes! It’s been a little over a month now that I’ve been engaged (YAY!), and I’ve been trying to be as productive as possible with wedding planning stuff. If you know me, you know I’m a total type A//OCD//always on top of everything kind of gal – and since we’re targeting a winter 2020 wedding, that leaves me with less than a year to plan everything! Seems like a lot of time, but after doing my wedding planning research – there’s a WHOLE LOT that goes into a wedding – with so many itty bitty but very important details.
So what CAN you easily do without having a set venue or date yet? Proposal gifts for your wedding party!! CJ will be having 6 groomsmen, and I’ll be having 10 bridesmaids (bridesmaid proposal gift box blog post coming very soon where I’ll share more).
CJ & I were so excited to partner with and on his groomsmen gifts, which will ultimately be what the groomsmen will be wearing the day of the wedding. Can’t wait to see these on all the handsome fellas, but for now – wanted to give a sneak peek into a bit of their attire 😉
is literally amazing. We actually visited the store in Chicago since it’s right near our apt, and their selection is incredible! So many different styles, colors, and patterns to choose from – the perfect choices for every kind of guy. If you haven’t heard of , they sell ties, shirts, pants, bowties, socks, accessories + more! I’m telling y’all, The Tie Bar is like every dude’s dream. It’s a great go-to men’s store for any and all special occasions. CJ picked a in the ‘light cornflower’ (basically a lighter shade of blue that’s between navy and light blue) color, but the tie comes in many many other colors.
The ties will be paired with ‘s (sooo cute right?). The tie clip also comes in platinum and silver. I begged CJ to ask his groomsmen “I mustache you a question, will you be my groomsmen?” but unfortunately he refused my suggestion – hahaha.
Lastly, the groomsmen socks! I feel like socks have always been a big thing for guys – it’s a subtle way to show off their personality + style. CJ went with these from for the groomsmen – they pair perfectly with the ties he selected. has socks for men and women (hint hint, my bridesmaid boxes may have included some too ;)) – with all different patterns and colors for everyone. Check them out!
And that’s all, folks! As mentioned, stay tuned for my bridesmaid proposal gift box blog post coming up next <3
