Writing this post LIVE from New York City, y’all! That’s right…CJ & I are back in our city! Well, I’m from Houston actually (Texas gal for life), but I lived in NYC from 2015 – 2019 and met CJ here, so it’s also home for me. It’s crazy- I feel like it was just yesterday I was packing up all my stuff and saying bye to this city that I loved so much, for a new adventure when CJ got a job in Chicago. && 15 months later, we’re already back!
Don’t get me wrong, Chicago is a great and beautiful city. It was just an odd time to live there because COVID happened right after we moved, so we barely got to experience all of its amazingness. Nevertheless, I’ll always be grateful for our ‘quarantine’ apartment and the great memories that we were able to have there. Nothing can replace what NYC is for us, though.
With all the excitement of moving to a new city also comes the hassle of moving your stuff.
