#Thelivstyledweidding: Recent Wedding Updates!

Man, it’s been a MINUTE since I had a wedding update to share, ha! But, after postponing a full year from 2020, the countdown is *finally* on y’all! We’re officially less than 5 months out from our wedding, and I cannot wait. It’s almost like it doesn’t feel real! I started picking back up wedding planning a few months ago, and I’m pretty deep into my Bachelorette party planning as well (that’s in October, so less than 3 months!). The last time I went to Florida was when I was picking my venue (Feb 2020 I think?), so I hadn’t been back in SO. long.

My parents were the best and flew to Florida as well to help me out with getting as much done as I could in one weekend. Most of my vendors were already booked since 2020, but it was nice getting to meet some of them in person! Overall, it was SUCH as productive trip and I’m so glad we went. It made me feel so much better overall and I feel in a really good place for planning at this point. Sadly my fiance didn’t end up going because he had to stay home and take care of our fur baby. I’m also a super type A bride and planning everything, so let’s just say the wedding day is basically going to be a whole surprise for him 😉 LOL.

Here’s what I did on my trip!

Visited my venue, Woodfield Country Club, again! I forgot how freakin’ stunning it was, and it made me even more excited!
Had my food taste testing at my venue – my venue is KNOWN for their food and I can’t wait until the guests get to eat all the deliciousness.
Met my day of coordinator, IT Events by Julie, in person! Julie is the sweetest and I love how on top of everything she is. I know she’ll make sure the day goes according to schedule!
Visited my florist, Kish Events Decor. I chose my centerpieces and bouquets and everything else, and I cannot wait to see my vision come to life!
Had my hair & makeup trial with Hair and Makeup I Do! Natalie is doing my makeup and Vanessa is doing my hair, and they are SO talented. I’m usually a pretty picky person when it comes to H&MU, but I was so happy with everything. Can’t wait for them to doll me up on my big day!
Cake tested at Earth & Sugar. SOOO delicious, can’t decide!
Got my nail trial done at In Style Nail Spa. Julie is the owner & a total girlboss, and I was OBSESSED with how it turned out. Getting sparkle ombre french 😉 She’ll add rhinestones on the day of, and I’ll get them shorter than this.

Shoutout to my amazing parents who have been literal angels throughout this entire wedding process. They are so supportive and helpful, while letting my Type A personality run the show. So so grateful for them! <3
