Hii, I’m baaack! Oh man, it’s been a MINUTE. Yes, I took a bit of a ~hiatus~ from blogging during my pregnancy. I’m going to do a full post about my pregnancy journey next (I promise…unless I go into labor early or something, LOL), but since I recently had my baby shower last weekend – I wanted to recap that for y’all before I forget!
My baby shower was so much fun! We showered our sweet girl with all the love from family and friends. It was hosted at Maman Bakery in Tribeca (King location). So convenient hosting events there because they have a pre-fixe menu that you can select from (family style meal) and they also take care of the menu printing. Maman allows you to bring all the table decor, and they even allowed us to have a side table for the signage and gifts. I’ve honestly been so busy with packing, moving into a new apt, unpacking, buying new furniture, and getting baby girl’s nursery ready that I haven’t had any extra time, so I was SO thankful that my bestie took over all the planning for the shower. From the cake to the cookies to the favors to the decor, everything turned out so beautiful and amazing! I wanted it all to be pink, and had all my guests come in pink too ๐ Our theme was full of pink hot air balloons – ‘Baby on the Wei’.
My family flew in from Houston, along with a few of my other friends from Houston and LA – so it was truly such a special celebration! We played games throughout the afternoon brunch too. I’m a few weeks out now, and we are so excited to meet her & be parents!!
