My Brielle is officially a 1 year old! I’ve learned that you truly never understand the true meaning of ‘time flies’ other than when you have a baby. I told CJ that this is arguably the most important year of your life (lol), so we have to go big for Brielle’s birthday! We were originally going to just have a party in NYC, but since none of my family were going to be able to attend – we thought it would be great to fly to Texas to celebrate Brielle’s birthday with my family as well. Thus, I did end up throwing Brielle’s two birthday parties, ha. However, I just LOVE planning themed parties, so it was all fun and games for me 🙂 This post will be about Brielle’s TEXAS party, and I’ll post her NYC party later this week.
If you’re going to throw a party in Texas, it just made sense that the theme was going to be baby’s first rodeo. This is SUCH a cute theme, and can easily be decorated for either a boy or a girl. Planning a party in a state you don’t live in is not an easy task, but I’m so happy with how everything turned out! I did start planning this one about 2 months in advance.
If you’re planning your baby’s first rodeo themed party, save this post! Linking everything below.
The balloon decor company did SUCH a great job. Truly brought my vision to life!!
Her little custom birthday outfit though! And the little hat!! SO cute.
Of course I made CJ dress up too!! How cute is this dad shirt?
LOVE my Dingo1969 boots – got these for her birthday party, but can wear these with anything – obsessed with the studs! And I found her baby boots on Zappos – can’t believe they had pink glitter ones, perfection!
HAD to put Brielle’s sweet face on the cupcake sticks!
Food was so good – catered everything from Craft Grill Breakfast Club in the Woodlands.
I designed the signs from an Etsy template and then printed them on Vistaprint (ships to you)!
Saw this idea and thought it was so cute! A little tattoo station!
I got the chocolate covered oreos, cupcakes, and pretzels from my sister’s go-to’s for her custom desserts, so sorry- don’t have the links!
Cookies were yummy and the owner was so sweet!
Also I loved my denim romper – the rhinestones are so pretty & it was so well made!
Shoutout to my photographer who took such beautiful photos of the day!
