A couple of weeks ago, I was lucky enough to attend an amazing event for a wonderful cause – the AMA Animal Rescue Gala. AMA Animal Rescue is a non-profit animal rescue organization based in NYC. The org specializes in taking in severely abused and neglected companion animals, rehabilitating and finding them happy homes. They currently pull animals from high-kill shelters or the streets, but the end goal is to build their own animal shelter so they can increase the amount of pets they save! Their commitment is honestly so amazing – AMA has saved over 175 animals, and never gives up no matter the severity or high medical expenses.
They held a ‘Midnight in Paris’ 2nd annual gala fundraiser event at Avenue, and it was a fabulous turnout! There were so many sponsors that attended who also believe in the cause, and not to mention we all got spoiled with a ton of delicious food + an open bar! There was a live DJ, raffles, and a live auction – SO much fun. Side note - the reason why my hair looks so voluminous is because I got my hair styled that night at DreamDry.
